Cerberus' hound is a mythical monster in Greek mythology. It is often depicted as a multi-headed canine protecting the gates of the underworld. In some myths, Cancerbero has three heads, while in others it can have as many as nine heads. The term "cancerbero" is also used to refer to a ferocious and unyielding sentinel.
